Carson had such a great flag football season this fall. Not only did he get to play with many of his friends, but football finally "clicked" for them and they had a winning season. Carson was a flag magnet! They went into the championship game undefeated!
We were actually down 2 touchdowns in the last couple of minutes of the game but the Raiders did not give up! They scored 2 touchdowns to tie the game and the other team got the ball back. It was the last play of the game and the other team passed the ball. Carson got an interception and then ran back to score the touchdown - it was pretty awesome! I think we all forgot this wasn't just a 2nd grade flag football game it was so exciting! Final score 36 to 42.
They were all pretty proud of their "Champions" trophies!
