Happy Halloween and Peace. That is how Jaxson greeted most people in this groovy getup. He was pretty awesome though. And it was hilarious seeing people try to figure out who in the world he was at the Trunk-or-Treat the night before.
Besides the Trunk-or-Treat, Jaxson joined his crazy friends for some official trick or treating around the neighborhood. They are quite the group and they made a killing on the candy! This picture reminds me a little of my Dad, circa 1972.
I was able to volunteer at both Carson and Kaisa's Halloween classroom parties. Carson's class of Kindergartners were hilarious and very busy! They made spider cookies, frosted more cookies, went ghost bowling, and played "pass the Jack-O-Lantern." They ingested a lot of sugar and had a crazy fun time.
Kaisa's classroom was a lot calmer; her teacher is ultra organized! They played the mummy game and Kaisa was one of the mummies. She had fun bursting from her wrappings. :)
Here is our three crazies together. The only theme we had for this year was "cheap" since we already had everything for all of their costumes!
Striking a pose….
Our little Knight was pretty darn cute, even though he would have preferred to look pretty darn tough instead. When anybody asked what he was going to be for Halloween, he would answer, "a dirty bloody knight"so we did our best to dirty and bloody him up a bit. He was very happy with his war wounds.
Oh yeah, he's super tough alright.
Carson kept photo-bombing all of Kaisa's pictures but she didn't mind too much. Kaisa agreed to wear her dance costume from last year as long as she could add a pink wig. I happily bought a pink wig! She ended up being kind of a rock-n-roll derby girl which was very unique and fun, just like Kaisa.
I don't even have to tell this one to strike a pose!
One of our fun Halloween activities was making and decorating this cute gingerbread Halloween house. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures until half of the candy was missing….
It was cute and fun though. Thanks Grandma Campbell!!
We had to add a black cat to the front of the house because about a week prior to Halloween this black cat showed up at our house. I think it thought it lived here. It would run between our front door window and the back patio window and meow at us. It kinda freaked us out a little bit and we were happy when it must have found another home somewhere….
