I have been neglecting this blog and now the year is officially over and our book will be missing quite a few pages. So the next few posts are going to be catch up! Jaxson and Carson both played basketball these past couple of months so we spent a lot of time going to practices and games. Jaxson was excited to make the AAU JV team for Mountain View. He had a great season! Jaxson was starting point guard and made lots of point throughout the season. He also become really good at assisting and defending. They lost their first game but then went undefeated until the tournament. We all had high hopes that they would take the whole thing, but our team lost to Boise in the second game 53-56. It was a great game! I don't have a single good picture of Jaxson playing basketball. He just moves too fast! Which is a good thing but not great for taking pictures! Jaxson absolutely loves basketball and would play it every day if given the opportunity.
This was Carson's very first basketball season and he was super excited that Tony was his coach! They worked a lot on fundamentals and Carson learned so much over the season. Like any sport that he plays, Carson wears a huge smile the whole time he is on the court. He had quite a few baskets and became really good a dribbling. He is also a fierce defender - sometimes on BOTH sides of the court! :) He loved it and he loved getting to play basketball with his buddies Crue, Logan, and Brock too!
