Spring Break

We took a vote on what to do for Spring Break this year and the overwhelming choice was a trip back to Washington state to visit our friends.  We left around noon on Friday and made it to Issaquah by bedtime!  Not too bad!  The kids were great little travelers and all cheered when we re-entered WA!

 

We stayed our first night at a hotel in Issaquah.  We totally could have kept going and made it to a friend's house, but it was kinda nice to have a quiet place to stay after driving all day.  We woke up early, had breakfast at Panera, and hit the road!

 

As we pulled into our old neighborhood and turned toward the Whitney's house, we could see McKenna waiting outside for us.  Kaisa couldn't wait to jump out of the van and give her a great big hug.  You would not think they had spent a year away from each other; they picked right up where they left off!

 

We were able to go to Tyler and Dalin's baseball game and then to a park and then to bowling.  It was soooo great to have these cute kids all together again.

The next day we went to church in our previous ward, which was happy and sad and a little strange all in one.  It has changed a lot, but it was so great to see everyone again!  I wish we had more time to visit with everyone!

After church we headed to the coast with our great friends the Dormans.  Jaxson joined Dale and Drew in their van and we added Laura and Cole to ours.  Carson and Cole played "rock, paper, scissors" to pass the time!

 

We had a ton of fun in Seabrooke.  The beach house was fantastic and the company was even better!  I hardly took any pictures because I'm planning on stealing all of Bekah's…. (Bekah, I need your pictures!!!) :)



I'm so glad we were able to spend our spring break with such amazing friends.  Truly the best!
