The kids were pretty creative when dying Easter eggs this year. They tried mixing colors to get the exactly color they wanted. Carson was going for his favorite shade of blue, Kaisa was trying to match the lime green of her pajamas, and I'm not really sure what Jaxson's intended color was but he seems pretty pleased. :) Actually I think this picture was taken right before he pretended to eat the egg whole…He is almost 12, ya know…
Last year we were moving during Easter, so we had boxes EVERYWHERE. The Easter Bunny ended up hiding all the eggs in the fort of cardboard and boxes. The kids loved that so much that they created their own fort for the eggs to be hidden in this year.
Enjoying the results of their labors before our 9am church meetings start.
Later we went over to Grandpa and Grandma Webb's house for more Easter egg finding and playing with cousins. All of the grandchildren also found kites, which were quickly gobbled up by several trees. It was so much fun to be together though!
