I can't believe Kaisa turned 9 on her birthday. Nine just seems sooooo much older than eight! It was time for a 'friend' birthday this year, so Kaisa invited 8 cute girls to a garden tea party. We were super lucky that it also happened to be the state track meet so Grandpa and Grandma Webb, Shanna, Tyson, Brogan, and especially Sam and Bailey were also here this weekend. Kaisa and Sam have always had a special cousin bond and every year Kaisa has asked if she can invite Sam to her birthday party--this year she actually could!
The girls beaded bracelets and then went on a butterfly scavenger hunt at the park next door.
Then they painted birdhouses, ate a lovely lunch, opened presents and played some more. There was lots of giggling and absolutely no drama. Yay!
