Basketball

 Jaxson played basketball at the YMCA with two of his good friends, Logan and Tanner.  Logan's dad was the coach and Tony assisted.  Their team name was the Vikings because they couldn't think of any other team that is purple and yellow besides the Lakers, and they refused to be the Lakers. :)

They were undefeated the whole season, winning most games by at least 20 points.  They were a small team, only 7 players, and didn't get a lot of rest.  The season culminated in the playoffs which took place on one Saturday between the 12 teams.  It was single elimination and Jaxson's team got a "bye" the first round.  Their first game they won 42 - 18.  They won their second game by 12 points.

The championship game, they played the other undefeated team and the game was really close!  During the last few minutes we were ahead by only 1 point.  Jaxson was exhausted, he played the last two games back-to-back and never came out.  He actually asked the coach if he could sub out for a couple minutes but his plea was denied.  Jaxson made a great shot and they ended up winning the championship game by 6 points.  It was a great end to a great season!
