On Christmas Eve this year, we headed up to Mt. Rainier's Paradise with the Dormans to go sledding. It was raining at our house when we left and still raining when we entered the park. The rain turned abruptly to snow as we ascended the mountain and the kids could not have been happier. We **love** Mt. Rainier; the forest, waterfalls, and wildlife (we saw deer and a few fox) are just beautiful. It snowed huge flakes the whole time we were there and it really felt like a magical Christmas Eve.

Our fun adventure ended in a huge snowball fight with Jaxson, Dale, and Drew hurling snowballs at the rest of us. They said they were like Samuel the Lamanite and could not be hit; we proved them wrong. :)
