We decided to 'shake things up' a little this year and celebrate Thanksgiving in Canada! My parents were able to come to visit, so we all left for Victoria, BC the day before Thanksgiving and returned 4 days later.The whole trip was a lot of fun. We visited the Parliament and sat in on a session, we toured a castle where the kids played "I Spy", we visited the beautiful Butterfly Gardens, and discovered a very cool aquarium.
Although we had to wait for the turkey, stuffing, and pumpkin pie until we returned back home, the food there was excellent! Especially the seafood!
The shopping was lots of fun too (thanks to Tony and Dad who took the kids swimming instead)!The trip was so much fun, we may have to leave the country every Thanksgiving :)
