This past summer we had lots of fun friends to hang out with - old friends and new friends! Tyler flew into Boise to join Jaxson at scout camp this year. They have always been such great buddies and they picked right up where they left off.
We were excited to hear the Waguespak family were going to be driving through Boise back to their new home in Colorado. We loved having them for a night at our house and had such a fun time catching up with them. Kaisa was super excited to see her good friend Aliya - who is now at least a foot taller than Kaisa!
Carson and Riley had lots of fun together too! We had to pull them out of the playroom every time we needed to feed them.
Shortly after that we had the pleasure of hosting the Kelly family for a few days. We loved getting to see them and spend time together again! Our kids seem more like cousins than friends and they all had a great time together.
We spent quite a lot of time with the Wilkenson family this summer as well. Our kids are just such good friends and we love their family. This picture was taken at Eagle Island state park - just 2 days before they closed it for some bacterial contamination! Yipes! We had a blast in our ignorance and I'm so glad none of us got sick!
Jaxson did his "summer buddies" boys' group again this year. It includes 22 boys and we take turns hosting an activity every Thursday. Luckily we have never actually had all 22 boys show up at one time! For our activity we took them all to the Meridian pool; we had 15 great boys who had a fun time doing crazy dives off the diving board, playing basketball, and going down all the slides.
Kaisa was super duper excited to fly to Washington this summer! She was able to stay with the Whitney family for a few days before they all drove back to Idaho on their way to Utah. She was way braver than I was getting on that airplane!

They were also able to spend an afternoon with Laura at Menchi's and then playing at her house. Kaisa loves these girls so much (so do I)!!
Lots of time spent at Roaring Springs with friends this summer. Kaisa and Kiali have become such great friends and they are hilarious together! We were so happy when they ended up in the same school class this year too!
Although I don't get a lot of pictures of Tony and me hanging out with friends, we actually have a few! :) Tony really enjoyed all his golf dates with friends this summer and I really really enjoyed getting away to Education Week at BYU again this year. I love these fun, strong, amazing ladies!
