I'm actually kinda hoping everyone is so busy this summer that they don't check on our blog - because it is pretty pathetic! We are down to the last week of summer vacation and I just cannot believe it is almost over! Where did it go?!? I have done an especially lousy job of documenting it too, so here we go:
Our Independence Day was pretty perfect. We met a couple of other families at the Bartholomew's for swimming and a barbecue which was delicious and lot of fun. Carson had lots of little buddies to swim with!
Jaxson had fun shooting hoops and hanging out with Luke and Tyler.
Our pool princess - She just will never pose for me! :) I love her!
We had a few huge "trains" on the slide. This one may have been the best. I adore the look on Amy's face!
Aaaah! We left half our train! I'm not sure why Kaisa is hitting Crue in the head, but I think they got over it before we all hit the water…
We then took our party to Storey park where we all played a very amusing game of kickball for a couple of hours. When it got dark the boys got out the glow sticks and made up a few games of their own…
Kaisa loves those Morris girls!
And Carson loves these boys! Crue, Carsen, and Logan are pretty awesome.
We had great seats for a really great fireworks display.
It was a fun celebrating our freedom and independence with such fun families and friends!
