Goodbye 2012!

I don't know if I have ever been so glad to see a year end... Don't get me wrong, it has been a great year. Lots of growth, lots of faith, lots of fun. But it has also been a challenging year (i.e. lots of growth) and it wouldn't be one I would want to repeat. Saying goodbye to our home of 10 years and some amazing friends was harder than I imagined. Yet moving to a completely new area and meeting completely new friends was actually much easier than I imagined too... We lost both of our grandmas this past year too, but we gained a lot more time with family which is something we certainly treasure. Kaisa was baptized this year which was awesome and we had lots of fun at Disneyland and in McCall too. It was a year of joy and tears, and love and worry, and prayers and laughter. But I can truly say we are closer and stronger as a family on the last day of 2012 than we were on the first day of 2012, so I am going to count this year as a success. Bring on 2013 -- I think we are ready!
