Anyone who knows Carson knows how much he adores firetrucks and firefighters. He was ECSTATIC to discover that his preschool class would be visiting a real firestation. He insisted on wearing his "fire-guy" raincoat and boots (which the firemen really liked). It was a pretty fantastic tour too. They got to get in the firetruck, an ambulance, and the rescue boat. They also practiced their "stop, drop, and roll" techniques, tried on real firefighter clothes, and actually went in a smoke room where they had to crawl through to get to the door. The smoke was "fake" but it was still thick and stinky! Carson LOVED this trip and has been talking about it ever since.
