We divided this trip to Maui between two different condos. The first condo we stayed at was in Kihei. We have stayed at these condos before and LOVE them. They have two beautiful pools (our favorite is nicknamed the peanut pool because of its shape) and the grounds are just beautiful. It was very uncrowded and we had lots of fun swimming there after dark! We loved the spacious condo and being right across the pools from the Dormans! We also love how much it feels like home and it is a really nice, laid-back area of Maui.
Our second week we stayed at a condo in a resort in Kaanapali. The condo itself was very nice and the kids loved the huge 1-acre pool complete with waterslide. We were right on the beach which was also very cool, and the resort had lots of tropical birds around the grounds. The kids favorite was an African Grey named Casey which would always whistle at them and say "Bye-Bye." There was definitely a different atmosphere at each condo and we enjoyed both places A LOT!
