A typical day

Yesterday was one of those typical days where every second was devoted to being a mom. I spent the morning making treats to bring to Jaxson's class to celebrate his birthday, and then we had a playdate with Jaxson and 3 of his buddies, followed by ballet class for Kaisa. The funny part was after we got home, Kaisa decided that I needed to go to a 'spa' (I couldn't have agreed more). So she had me lay down on the couch and she put a wash cloth over my forehead and brought me a tray with an apple, an orange, and a glass of water (the usual spa food, I suppose). Then to top it off she told me to close my eyes and she put Ritz crackers over my eyelids! I guess they work in a pinch if you run out of cucumbers at your 'spa'.
