Kaisa's baptism was so special. Everything has been so crazy with the move that it was so nice to take the time to enjoy what is really important… faith, family, and friends. We were happy to meet Chloe, who was also getting baptized; she is in a different ward but still in our neighborhood so it was fun to make a new friend at such a special occasion. Kaisa and Chloe sang the song "I'm Trying To Be Like Jesus" at their baptism and it was so sweet to see the two of them up there in their little white jumpsuits, holding hands, singing the words to that song. Not good for my make-up though! :)
It was so much fun for Kaisa to share this day with so many family members and such great friends . Kaisa knew that people had come from New Mexico (Grandma Campbell) to Washington (Bekah and Laura) just for her. Kaisa was a little nervous but very excited to be baptized. I'll never forget her face coming back in to change after leaving the font--she was just glowing with excitement. When her Aunt Tessa asked her about her baptism a couple of days later, Kaisa said she was still perfect because whenever one of her brothers tried to make her mad, she just thought to herself to ignore them because it wasn't worth not being perfect for. She cracks us up. Fortunately there's that thing called repentance…
