Heat Basketball

Tony coached Jaxson's basketball team again this year. What a great season they had! We have known many of these boys for most of Jaxson's life and we love seeing the friendship and teamwork that they have with each other. It was especially fun this year since they did more than just enjoy playing together....they also won quite a few games!


Jaxson LOVES the game of basketball. In truth, he loves every sport he is playing at the time, but he has a serious love for basketball. He records college and pro games on TV and actually studies them and he almost always has a basketball in his hands. He made a lot of points this year but this is the picture of the 2 points he'll probably remember the most. It was the last game and the other team was up by one point. It had been a very physical game and the score had gone back and forth a lot. There were 13 seconds on the clock (you should hear Jaxson tell this) and Tony called a time-out. Jaxson and Tyler planned on running a play but it didn't work out so they improvised. Tyler passed to Jaxson, Jaxson dribbled around the player guarding him and shot the ball. Swish! They won the game and it was a great way to end the season. Go Heat!!
