Lately...

I am so glad school is out so we can finally stop and relax..... yeah, right! The last few weeks have been quite full of activities. Kaisa was able to perform her dance at the Dance Celebration. The theme was Movie Night and Kaisa's dance was from Father of the Bride, called 'Going to the Chapel.' She did such a great job! Although it was a little strange dressing up my 6-year-old in a 'wedding dress' and being called a "mother of the bride". Yipes! Not yet!!

My mom and dad visited us for a long weekend and was able to watch Kaisa's recital and hoped to watch one of Jaxson's baseball games. Alas, it was not to be. Every game was rained out. We did have one nice day while they were here, though, and took the kids to the zoo.

It is too bad Carson is our caboose; he would make a great big brother! He loves to sit and read stories to Kaisa's baby dolls like we do to him each night. It melts my heart.

Speaking of melting hearts, I love the bond between these brothers. Carson is quite convinced that Jaxson is his hero and luckily Jaxson is really patient and sweet to him. Jaxson even lets Carson play baseball with him at home, which Carson thinks is the best thing ever. Carson usually hits the ball, too! Look out T-ball!
